Colorado Governor, Denver & Aurora Officially Proclaim HBCU Legacy Week Ahead of 2026 Mile High HBCU Weekend

The State of Colorado, the City and County of Denver, and the City of Aurora have officially proclaimed HBCU Legacy Week, recognizing the contributions of HBCU alumni across the state and the work of Mile High HBCU Weekend Inc. in expanding HBCU awareness, increasing college access, and celebrating the enduring legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The proclamations coincide with the organization's second annual Mile High HBCU Weekend, taking place July 23-26, 2026.
